PRIDE AFTER PROGRESS

We always love Pride month as an opportunity to start conversations, celebrate the LGBTQ+ community and signal support. However, there is always a risk that once those flags stop waving, so does the accompanying actions. We are also seeing increased hesitancy around these issues for fear of backlash or just getting it wrong.

To ensure progress continues, we are delighted to be running this panel event with Dr Christopher Owen – Coliberate, and Paige Hughes – The Alternative.

Topics include: systems change; the importance of safe spaces; creating inclusive workplaces and policies; navigating difficult conversations; and understanding the political landscape. It is also your opportunity to ask questions in a non-judgmental environment.
