Our November guest speaker, Sandy Lindsay MBE, grew up on one of the UK’s worst council estates and attended one of the worst performing secondary schools in the country. She’ll talk us through how being ‘accused’ of having a moral streak led her to create what would become one of the UK’s top performing, most awarded communications agencies – Tangerine Communications, which now employs 120 people - and to her being honoured by the Queen! She’ll talk us through become a NED, putting Tangerine into Employee Ownership and selling her digital marketing apprenticeship programme - The Juice Academy - and giving all the money away (why did she do that?) And she’ll also share the top five business tips she’s picked up through it all! BUT she’s very keen to leave loads of time for questions so be sure to be there and to bring some!
